Eagle Rock Multi-Age is a small school which houses anywhere from 65-70 students per year. The Riverview School district does give us funds for the year to help support supplies, curriculum and school needs, however since we are a small school and the funding is per child, the pot is not as big as other schools in the district.
Our PTA is what keeps us funded and able to the things we want to do as a school. You being a part of PTA at ERMA helps us fund our school. Here is a list of things that PTA funds:
- High Tea
- PE
- Art
- Paper
- Computers
- Computer equipment
- Assisted hearing sets for every room
- Chairs
- Desks
- The play structure on the play ground
- Books for class room and library
- Music instruments
- Library cart and supplies
- Reading programs
- Fit bit program for fitness
- Garden…green team
- Field Trips
- Guest speakers
- Event such Halloween, science and art fairs, field day, holiday programs etc.
- Curriculum
Joining PTA can be just that: you pay your fee and that is it; but being involved in it can really shape the school you want your child to attend. The amazing thing about ERMA is that you really can make changes and make a difference to benefit all kids.
